Page 2, Row 6 Finally Done!!

I finally finished my next row of stitches, only took me 9 months! LOL!  Sorry it took soooo long to update, life has been completely insane since January.  I didn't even stitch at all, not even non-HAED projects from January till July.  I finally got my stitching bug back around July and worked on a simple blackwork project.  I found lots of different blackwork squares in a free download, used my own fabric, and put a little spin on it and it looked good.  I even finished it!  I started reading the HAED board and finally got myself re-motivated to work on my Sapphire project.  I don't know how I didn't stitch on anything for sooo long.  My stitching is such a therapeutic thing for me.  If my mind is racing with everything going on it slows my thinking down because I have to concentrate so I don't make (as many) mistakes.  If I need to think and come up with an opinion or whatever is going on at that given time it allows me to concentrate on that one issue and stitch.  It's so soothing and helpful.  The change in me not stitching, to stitching again is that I have surrounded myself with people who support my hobby, not make me feel guilty for doing it and make me pack it away.  I'm grateful to those people and you all know who you are.  I really enjoy sitting and watching TV and stitching or watching my guy play video games while I stitch.  It's been good so I hope this streak of having my stitchy bug continues, especially for my Sapphire project.  Okay now that I've written a novel I will share the pictures of my new row.  I believe I have started the background behind the girl.  I seem to be getting out of the grays/purples and more into the blues that are behind her.  We shall see if that continues in the next row.  I should have this page completed soon, unless my life turns even more crazy and I pray it doesn't.  Anyway, here are the update pictures.

Page 2 Row 3 FINISHED!

I just finished stitching my 3rd row on page 2!  That means I did a row in less than a day!  I do want to say to not expect an update on my Saturday or Sunday (I'm in the US) because I will be staying the nite at my aunt's house with my 4 boys and won't be taking my stitching.  I plan to enjoy that time with my boys!  So the next post from me should be on Monday or Tuesday I'd guess.  Here's the pics!

Second Post in one day!

We are having a blizzard here so I spent all day stitching.  I just finished up Row 2 on Page 2.  Here's the update pics!

Page 2 Started...

Man, doing just the background on this project goes so much faster than doing the actual design with all of the confetti.  I just got Page 2, Row 1 done!  It's going much faster than the last few rows on the last page, I'm deal with mostly one color of thread with a few accents added in!  Here's the pics!

Excited!

I am so excited to announce that I just finished PAGE 1 of Sapphire!  I can't believe I've done a whole page already.  That's over 7,800 stitches!  There are 42 pages (not all full pages, some are partial pages) in this chart and I'm done with one of them!  I need a shower first but then I will start on page 2.  Here's the pics!

Page 1 Row 8 of Sapphire is DONE!!

I just finished stitching the next Row on Page 1 of Sapphire!  I actually got to use some bright colors in the last two squares!  I think I see the gem in the upper left corner appearing!  Here are the update pics I just took...

Page 1, Row 7 DONE!

I've been a busy lil stitching bee again.  I just finished the next row, Row 7 on Page 1 of Sapphire.  The last 7 stitches all being one-stitch wonders (as I call them) but I got em done.  Here are the pictures.  I have been rotating Sapphire with Stacked Cups so they get equal attention.  Plan on some pictures soon of Stacked Cups!

Finally finished up the next row!  Got Page 1, Row 6 completed just now.  Here are the pics for that!

I also unstitched the mistake area on 'Stacked Cups'.  I plan to pick that up next and get a lil done on it!

Finally Page 1, Row 5 is DONE!

Except for 1 stitch that I can't seem to find the color for, Page 1, Row 5 is done.  Took me awhile to get this row done as I wasn't feeling good there for awhile and just plain didn't feel like stitching.  A few days ago I forced myself to just pick it up and do 15 mins and finally just now got my row finished.  I seem to be missing the color 939 in my project bag so will be going to the store hopefully sometime this week to grab that color.  I must have skipped it on the color number page when purchasing the threads to begin with.  I'm sure my Ben Franklins will have it.  Anyway here are the update pictures!

Oh I almost forgot.  I was searching around for the color 939 and FOUND stacked cups project.  I can now work on that in my spare time.  Right SPARE time.  But I have located it and cannot wait to finish it.  I will try to figure out where I missed up on that one and I'm sure I'll have some frogging (unstitching) to do!  Here are the pics of Sapphire!

Page 1 Row 3 Done

Sorry it's taken me so long for an update this time!  I did really good on Row 3 till Tuesday (10/23/12) but then my health took a turn for the worse.  I had 4 spells where I almost fainted on 10/23 into 10/24. I got right into the doctors office and have just been drained of my energy!  The doc office did blood work and that came back normal so next is an MRI of my brain.  I have to get an issue with my insurance taken care of on Monday then the doc office will schedule the MRI.  I finally felt well enough tonight to stitch some thus finishing Row 3.  I hope my health continues to stay like this so I can continue stitching!  I finally got it done tho.  Here are the update pictures!

Page 1 Row 2 Done!

I have had yesterday and today off of work so I've gotten a lot of stitching time in.  I am proud to say that I have finished the next 800 stitches thus completing row 2 on page 1.  Just took some progress pics and here they are!

Page 1 Row 1 done

The first 800 stitches have been completed in this project!  I now have the first row on page 1 done.  There weren't as many color changes or confetti as I expected so that's nice, but with the big blocks of the same color I noticed I got bored easily.  That could be because the colors are so dark there's not much of a difference in them.  I have also noticed that it is stitching up darker than what it looks in the project sample picture but that is okay, it will look fantastic when done.  Also in column 4 I seem to have gridded only 9 spaces instead of 10 so if it looks like I'm off on my gridding I am.  I just pretended I didn't notice my mistake and am just sorta ignoring the gridding till I can fix my problem.  Here are the update pictures I just took!
